People who live and work in Mount Clemens will notice some colorful — and educational — public art displays nearing completion.
The projects involve two outdoor murals: One on the staircase from Northbound Gratiot to the Clinton River across from the Macomb County Circuit Courthouse, and the other along the Cherry Street alley directly across from Weirdsville Records on Macomb Place.
The projects are designed to illustrate the vision of the national non-profit KaBoom! Play Everywhere Challenge to bring “play to unexpected but everyday spaces, making it easy and available for kids and families.”
